Iværksætter tager sagen i egen hånd: Vibe-koder platform for at komme problem til livs

“Entrepreneur takes matters into their own hands: vibe-codes a platform to tackle a problem”

ITWatch covers how BikeSafe CPH came about: the guide was vibe-coded and published free by its founder, rather than waiting for the city to address how little visiting cyclists are told before they get on a bike. The piece places the project somewhere between a hobby and a full-time business - a con amore for the city, in the founder's own words.

A man made a guide to the cycling rules you should know before getting a hefty fine, plus where to rent, and everything else you need to know while (and before) riding your bike

The Copenhagen Post covers BikeSafe CPH in its Life in Denmark section: why a daily Copenhagen cyclist built a free guide after too many near misses with visitors who had never been told how the cycle lanes work, and what the guide holds - the traffic rules, hand signals, videos, routes, rentals and repairs, and a quiz to finish. The piece runs through the rules that catch people out, from blue cycle crossings and stopped buses to the phone fine and drinking and cycling, and notes the Copenhagen Tourist Cycle License still to come.

That is the idea behind BikeSafeCPH.com, a free website created by Copenhagen-based entrepreneur and programmer Oliver Wang Hansen to explain how cycling in the city actually works.

Ny platform skal gøre turister trygge i den københavnske cykeltrafik

“New platform aims to make tourists feel safe in Copenhagen cycle traffic”

Turisme.nu covers the launch of BikeSafe CPH, the free platform that teaches visiting cyclists the Danish traffic rules, hand signals and cycle-lane etiquette before they rent a bike, and the voluntary Copenhagen Tourist Cycle License that follows it.
